Why Thoddoo
Thoddoo is a local island in Alif Alif (North Ari) Atoll, west of Malé. Maldivians know it for its farms, especially watermelon and papaya. Its sandy bikini beach is calmer and greener than Maafushi's.
Getting there
Thoddoo is further from Malé than Maafushi, so the trip takes longer. Most guesthouses arrange shared speedboat transfers. Ask them for the current price and departure times when you book.
